MELBOURNE, VICTORIA – The first ever Crossroads Pro-Life walk across Australia ends tomorrow in Melbourne, Victoria. The walk will conclude with a Mass at St. Augustine Parish in Melbourne with a prayer vigil and walk from the Church to the Victorian Parliament.
The first ever Crossroads walk in Australia has been a huge success” said Daniel Mount – the leader of the walk who is from Melbourne. “Walking across Australia for the last 4 weeks has been amazing – we had our challenges but we also had amazing things occur” Mount continued. He also said “working to convert the hearts and minds of others and help build the Culture of Life is the way we will end abortion in Australia.”
The walk began in Brisbane on 15 December and lasted over 1,500 kilometres and passed through dozens of towns and cities. Dozens of youth participated on the walk for at least a few days with a core group walking the entire distance.
