The Executive Director of Crossroads, Martha Nolan, spoke at the “Making Abortion History” conference in London, England on Thursday, October 27th.
The conference was held on the 44th anniversary of the Abortion Act of 1967, which made abortion legal throughout the United Kingdom. It is held each year right next to the British Parliament in downtown London.
Martha spoke about Crossroads and our upcoming 18th annual pro-life walks across America, Canada and Ireland. She also announced plans for a possible Summer 2012 pro-life walk around the U.K.
The conference was put on by Christian Concern and Choose Life, both are U.K. based groups that work to defend religious liberty and the rights of the unborn.
Members of many european pro-life groups were in attendance and Ms. Nolan was able to meet many of them and share ideas for the future involving Crossroads and additional pro-life walks in other countries.
