Pro-life youth who spent the summer walking across America are now doing the same thing in Europe. The Maryland-based pro-life ministry Crossroads conducts a yearly pilgrimage across the United States every summer, with young adults walking from San Francisco and Los Angeles, California to Washington, DC, witnessing to the dignity and sanctity of all human life from the moment of conception to natural death.
“If you do the math on that,” spokesman Andrew Doran notes, “it comes out to a little over one and a quarter million people that we’ll reach with the message that all human life is sacred and must be protected.”
This year, three different teams of young people – the third team departed from Seattle – each walked 3,000 miles across the U.S., carrying their pro-life message to churches and city rallies along the way. And now, the walkers, freshly shod with new shoes, are walking across Europe from Brussels, Belgium, to Cologne, Germany, carrying their same message of the sanctity of life across another continent.
