Nearing the conclusion of their journeys across the country, participants in the annual Crossroads walk continue to share a message about the value of human life.
In the debate over abortion rights, many are keeping a close watch over Supreme Court Justice Nominee Judge John Roberts. However, some 40 plus college students have decided to take matters into their own hands and join in on a 3,000-mile trek across America to spread a pro-life message not only about abortion, but about the sanctity of all stages of life.
In May, the 11th consecutive summer walk was launched, with groups beginning their journeys in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle. Each group will conclude their walk on the steps of the U.S. Capitol Building on August 6. Afterwards, they will travel to Cologne, Germany, to attend the World Youth Day.
During the week, the students spend most of their time walking. On the weekends, they visit churches and local groups to share their message. This summer, they will meet with an estimated 250,000 people in churches alone.
