WASHINGTON, DC – Members of Crossroads traveled to Washington, DC to participate in the 31st Annual March for Life this past Thursday, January 22.

For the past ten years Crossroads has always maintained a presence at the March recognizing the importance of the event. Determined that this year would be no different Crossroads took the office on the road and conducted business from the Capital.

This year was particularly exciting when Crossroads was given a chance to kick off Ave Maria College’s bus trip by speaking to the campus on the night before two hundred students’ boarded buses and made their way to the Capital. A Crossroads representative attended as a chaperone on the trip.

Once in DC Crossroads set up a booth at the convention. “The interest in the walk was impressive,” says Martha Nolan, Director. “People were familiar with Crossroads and wanted to know more about this year’s walk.”

If you were at the walk and witnessed the mad dash Martha and Elizabeth Daub made through the crowds, handing out literature— you’ll be glad to know that at the March alone Crossroads distributed over 2,200 leaflets.

For the first time in it’s ten year history, Crossroads was fortunate enough to attend the Rose Dinner and mingle with those who have been defending babies for decades.

“Crossroads recognizes that the March for Life is an essential part of pro-life activism. It’s a chance to spread your message nation wide by just walking through the mall in DC. It’s inspiring and Crossroads was lucky to just be part of the whole experience.”
