STEUBENVILLE, OH – Plans have already begun for the 10th annual Crossroads pro-life walk across America.
Every summer since 1995, Crossroads has walked across America from the Pacific Coast of California to US Capitol steps in Washington DC promoting the dignity and sanctity of all human life, especially the unborn.
This summer will be no different.
Crossroads plans to coordinate two walks— the traditional northern route beginning in San Francisco and ending in DC as well as returning to the southern route beginning in San Diego and also ending in Washington DC.
Crossroads feels this is the prefect way to celebrate the tenth year anniversary.
“We had a southern walk a few years ago,” says Martha Nolan, Director of Crossroads, “but due to circumstances we had to cancel it this past year. People were truly disappointed.”
This is remarkable for a group that was started by a college student who planned to do only one summer and started out with a few friends, no media, and very little resources.
“It’s amazing to look back ten years and see how far Crossroads has come and how many lives it has changed,” says Nolan.
On this, the brink of their tenth summer Crossroads knows that remaining faithful to God and focusing solely on their mission has been rewarded. They hope to show their gratitude by making both anniversary walks as sacrificial and prayerful as possible.
