Paul Jang Han Goo

I believe that God has called me to walk with Crossroads. I first heard about the walk from Brother Paul at our seminary, and I felt inspired. I wanted to work this summer; but the more I thought about the walk, the more I felt compelled to try it. I went to the Crossroads website, and it dawned on me that the walk would be an enormously daunting task. I was taken aback and felt even scared. I went back to my room and opened the book I had been reading; it was the autobiography of St. Teresa of Avila. The first sentence that I landed on was, "Do not let anything take away the good inspiration God has placed in you." That took away all of my fears. That made it easy for me to turn down the job offer I had, and to stay firm when others expressed serious concerns about my decision. And boy, am I glad I joined the walk! It is such a great joy to live for God 24/7, and He has taken me to places far and beyond my wildest imagination!
