I decided to walk across America with Crossroads because I refuse to be silent as the innocent are being slaughtered and as my generation and the generations to come are denied the fundamental rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I knew that Crossroads would bring me to the frontlines in the battle for the protection of the innocent, and so I have wholeheartedly embarked upon this journey in defense of the unborn. I refuse to stand by in complacency as the dark clouds of the genocide of abortion breaks, threatening my family, my friends, my country, and my world. Men and women are being told lies concerning their unborn children, offering abortion as a ticket to independence, freedom, and success; however these assurances dissipate into thin air, and it is replaced by guilt, fear, uncertainty, and despair. Thus I have decided to walk across America, not only for the protection of innocent life, but also for the mothers and fathers who are deceived into thinking that they have the right to preserve or deny life for the unborn. It is my hope that I will be a witness for life this summer by participating in Crossroads.
